New Stage Managers Desk and Storage

We built this area so that the managers have a place to effectively manage the noise levels backstage while still seeing the service via the monitor in case a worship leader needs the back-up mic. This area is to be manned at all times and the individuals are to keep the back stage area quite.
The new drawers that have been installed are an attempt to make a permanent home for such things as gaff, batteries, and clear com packs. The old mobile drawer was breaking down and things were constantly being stacked on top of it. This is a continuation of our goal to keep the backstage area clean.
We really appreciate the new space, it’s terrific. You guys are always supportive about helping us perform the best job we can backstage. Thanks!

I work for a church in Columbia, MO and just found this website, and think it is awesome. Can I ask how you built this desk? What materials did you use? Did you have buy it and then assemble it or did you come up with the plan yourself? I am wanting something similar for our stage managers.
