Camera Numbering Change

With the addition of North Point Online, there have been a lot of changes that have followed.  The latest is the addition of a camera in the East auditorium.  This camera is located to the house left of the lighting booth.  I know this doesn’t necessarily warrant a blog post.  However, changing the camera numbers does, which is the intent of this post.

Starting this Sunday, (8/29) we are moving forward with a new camera numbering scheme.  It will change in BOTH auditoriums.  Please refer to the diagram to see the new layout.  Click the image to enlarge.  If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments section.

Currently, (8/26) PCO reflects the old numbering system.  Until this gets updated, please use it as a guide as to where you are scheduled, but use the new guide for your actual camera number.

Thanks, we’ll see you soon!

I can hear the director’s calls now… “Will the camera previously known Camera2 please pull out to a stage wide…”

  2. Chip says:

I have not been in the east for a while. Can we use all cameras or only certain cameras in the east?

  3. Clete says:

The cameras that you can use in the East are the same, Cameras 1-5. They are just reordered. Camera 6 is NPO only along with camera 7 which is the jib.

Havent been there forever…But Hey! just a suggest: It would be nice if Lead vocal & BGV were positioned accordingly so Cam 3 can get a good relationship 2 shot. Rock on! You guys are still awesome in all you do! Always striving for the BEST!
