Q: What Decibel level do we run our auditoriums?
The goal is to keep the audio under 100dB on an A-weighted scale.
——————————————————————————————————-
Q: What do you use for your drum shield?
Drum Shield Information
The Plexi:
2 sheets of 3/16th inch thick plexi glass at 4’ x 5’ make the sides. Sometimes we use a 3′ x 5′ on the sides (instead of the 4′ x 5′) to give our onstage camera operators easier access to shoot the drum set.
1 sheet of 3/16th inch thick plxi glass at 7’ x 5’ makes the front.
This is usually purchased at a local glass company.
The Clips:
We take 8 glass display clips and use them to attach the sides.
We purchase these from Palay Display at this location:
http://www.palaydisplay.com
This is what the clips look like:

Below is a picture of the entire set up. With these dimensions it fits nicely on an 8’ x 8’
drum riser allowing for 6 inches of margin on each side. We also suggest to
place a rug under the glass as well as the drums to keep them from shifting
during play.

Q: What equipment do we use to duplicate the message?
The Sunday message is duplicated for attendees interest in getting a copy of the message on CD right after the service using R-Quest tower duplicators.
All other media duplicating (video CDs, message series DVDs, etc.) is contracted out off-site.

Q: What equipment do you use in your studio to record the worship service?
We use a 64 input Amek Media 51 for Preamps and EQ on the front end.
From there everything goes into our Pro Tools HD4 system via a 192
and 3 96i’s. We also use a Control 24 control surface.
Monitoring is on Adam A7 nearfields and Dynaudio Acoustics BM-15A
midfields with a BM-14S Sub.
Monitor routing is done using a Coleman Audio MK3PH.
